Celery
Celery’s shape is a thick, hollow, striated and elongated stem composed of cylindrical-shaped tufts, longitudinally traversed by a deep groove, from which numerous leaves sprout with parsley-like appearance.
| Shape: | It’s stalks vary between 30 and 60 centimeters of length. The commercial size is usually 25 to 30 cm. After the harvest, the celery is cut the leaves, cleaned, washed, drained and pocketed, without exposing the upper ends of the stems. |
