
Spreading Organic Culture 2017
Last Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18, the First National Forum of Organic Agriculture was held in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende where AGROFRESCO was invited to participate as one of the representatives of Organic Agriculture in the state of Guanajuato, having a assistance from around 900 local and foreign farmers.
The main objective of this forum is to promote organic production and create a healthier lifestyle through the consumption of products generated through the practices of the Organic System, which besides having no chemicals, produces the sustainability and vitality of the field. , contributing to the conservation of the environment.
During the first day of the Forum, experts presented attendees with topics related to global trends in the commercialization of organic products, soil biology, use of microorganisms for pest control, genetic improvement of organic seeds, impact on agriculture due to climate change in Mexico and the panorama of international certifications.
AGROFRESCO is proud to have been one of the exhibitors during the second day of the Forum with the participation of the “Field Day”, which in collaboration with Vitalics Organic Seeds we made the presentation of organic products to around 300 people, among local and foreign farmers dedicated to organic and conventional agriculture, among the attendees was the CEO of Vitalics in Latin America, Erica Renaud; also, we had representatives of Fresh Express, Tarimura & Antle, Taylor Farms and Earthbound.
